The influence of Christianity and the Bible on information technology and how we read today.

On Facebook, I am friends with author Anne Rice. Well...At least her fan page anyways. One thing I really appreciate about her is that she is personally interacting with us(Way cool) and she's always posting articles that make you think. And this one really hit home this morning.

Please pay very close attention to what is not explicitly being said in this article.

Here is the key phrase that hit me like a ton of bricks. "nobody realized what a good idea it was until a very interesting group of people with some very radical ideas adopted it for their own purposes. Nowadays those people are known as Christians, and they used the codex as a way of distributing the Bible."

Christianity has changed and benefitted the world in many ways. In my mind this is simply more evidence of the Kingdom of God spreading and filling the whole Earth. Yes folks...Jesus is even Lord of technology...8-) Enjoy...

So...I went through a collection of books that have been collecting dust for a number of years now. A lot of them were of very litltle monetary value if any. But many of them were very high quality theological commentaries and encyclopedias. I even had
